लॉकडाउन के चलते आज दिहाड़ी प्रवासी मजदूर, रेहड़ी ठेले, खोमचे वाले जिन लोगों के पास रोजी-रोटी और रोजगार नहीं बचा है। ऐसे लोगों को समाजवादी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव के आवाहन पर पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश के कार्यकर्ताओं की तरह ही कानपुर के हरप्रीत सिंह बब्बर भी अपने समाजवादी साथियों के साथ अपनी सामर्थ के अनुसार लगातार लोगों की मदद आज दिन तक कर रहे हैं। सपा नेता हरप्रीत सिंह बब्बर ने बताया की सरकार के मदद के तमाम दावों के बाद भी धरातल पर कुछ नजर नहीं आ रहा है। सरकारी मदद हकीक़त से कोसों दूर है। सरकार की लगातार अनदेखी से लाचार प्रवासी मजदूरों के सामने कई गंभीर संकट पैदा हो गए हैं। इस सबके बीच समाजवादी पार्टी कार्यकर्ता अखिलेश यादव के निर्देश पर उत्तर प्रदेश भर में अपनी सामर्थ्य के अनुसार गरीबों के बीच जाकर लगातार मदद के कामों को आगे बढ़ाए हुए हैं। अखिलेश यादव के इस सराहनीय कदम की प्रदेश भर में ही नहीं पूरे देश में प्रशंसा हो रही है। आज मदद करने वालों में हरप्रीत सिंह बब्बर, जितेन्द्र सिंह संधू, सुखबीर सिंह, गगन दीप सिंह मौजूद रहे।
